But in black it wouldn't be in keeping with the other panel menus in eOS.. That said, theme options are always welcome

Very nice !

But I have a question : why always give names to elementary software ? They are very well chosen, but I guess *basic* "Download Manager" is way more obvious and user friendly ?

Well, for Gnome3 it's mostly done by XML and I could do this (I gave up, because I can't do interface graphics), but because with my display configuration this envrioment is highly unstable I just can't use it.
